We are a foundation that originated in 1986 with the goal of providing medical and hospital assistance to children and adolescents with limited economic resources, who suffer from complex pathologies.OUR PURPOSE
Because we have always loved life, we provide less privileged children and adolescents access to high-quality, specialty health services. Our strength and sustainability has allowed low-income children and adolescents with complex pathologies to access specialty and high-quality health services in order to save or considerably improve their quality of life.

Our purpose
Since 1986 we attend low-income children and adolescents in Ecuador that need highly-complex and specialized surgeries to save or considerably improve their quality of life.
With the support of strategic allies, our patients receive high quality medical services, provided with efficiency, warmth, safety, and humanism; and supported by world-class technology and infrastructure.

Our program conducts high-complex surgeries to save or considerably improve the life quality of hundreds of children and adolescents who suffer from a complex pathology.

Prevention of Childhood Blindness
Our goal is to reduce the prevalence of severe ophthalmological diseases that lead to blindness or visual impairment in children throughout Ecuador.
We attend low-income children and adolescents with ophthalmological pathologies of varying degrees of complexity, from refractive problems (children who need glasses) to complex surgeries such as congenital cataracts, glaucoma, or malignant intraocular tumors(retinoblastoma).

Medical Brigades
We carry out clinical-surgical brigades and care processes in areas of natural disasters or at regions where children have no access to quality health services.
Up to date we have carried out 71 brigades in different rural areas of Ecuador.

Pacemaker Bank Program
We operate children and adults who suffer from cardiac arrhythmia and require a pacemaker to ensure the proper functioning of their heart.
It's done in alliance with the Rotary Club and Fundacion Banco de Marcapasos.

The foundation focuses mainly on low-income children and young people, who are between 0 and 18 years of age and who require highly complex surgeries. We operate patients whose pathology is within 4 medical specialties: Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Traumatology and Pediatric Neurosurgery. - Be a pediatric patient (0-18 years)
- Diagnosed with a pathology that requires surgery within the 4 medical specialties mentioned in the previous question.
- Not have private insurance
- In case of applying to all of the above, a face-to-face interview is required at our offices in Quito to determine the socio-economic level of the family and the patient.

Our offices and medical / surgical care are carried out in the city of Quito, in the Medical Towers III and Hospital Metropolitano (located on San Gabriel S / N and Nicolás Arteta streets).
However, we receive and serve pediatric patients from any corner of Ecuador. If the patient lives outside of Quito and requires help to mobilize and accommodate in the city, you can contact us through the channels mentioned in the previous question.
